Another super ‘ Quirky Wedding Fair ‘ at the Waterfront Hall yesterday.

It is always so lovely to meet brides to be ‘face to face’ rather than sitting behind a computer desk. We got chatting about all things ‘make-up’ of course!!

Some knew exactly what they were looking for as they have a huge interest in make-up already as they naturally wear it on a regular basis, however a lot were asking for a little guidance. Some totally out of their comfort zone.

I 100% believe in firstly listening to you. The brides make-up is an extremely important factor of their overall look on one of the biggest days of their lives. I do pride myself in being extremely approachable and I always want you to walk away feeling confident and absolutely love the make-up I have applied. By listening to you however, I will get an idea of what you personally do and don’t like. I will then happily advise what I think would work also and would be best to compliment you, to creating that perfect look to last all day in your photographs.

I suppose I would call my make-up style – clean, natural and flawless ; creating the most beautiful version of yourself by enhancing those key features very softly. I definitely do not like to create any sort of mask effect. You need to still look like ‘you’.

While exhibiting at the fair, I enjoyed meeting Sandra from Blue Meadow Bridal as she was at the stand just beside me. Check out her fabulous luxurious handmade headpieces and veils - they’re really beautiful and some are really quite different which is always so good to see. www.bluemeadowbridal.com

I now have a busy week ahead, emailing you all some quotes and arranging confirmation for those wishing to book me for their wedding day. I honestly feel so lucky for any bride to pick me to be a part of their wedding morning preparations.
